Time Turner

During the game, each team has two opportunities to use a Time Tuner (which differs from the Time Turners used with the Hoops & Loops expansion). Using a Time Turner pauses a team’s timer for 1-minute for doubles teams and 30 seconds for solo teams. If the opposing team’s timer reaches 0 while the Time Turner is in effect, the additional time remaining on the Time Turner is carried over when the timers are reset to their starting values.

Only one Time Turner may be in use at a time (between both teams). Time Turners can only be used on your own team’s turn, and a second Time Turner cannot be used in the same turn as when your previous Time Turner expired. Time Turners may only be activated prior to rolling for the Seeker during your turn.

For example, a solo team has 24 seconds left on their countdown timer and they decide to use a Time Turner. They use 15 seconds on their Time Turner to complete their turn (so 15 seconds are left on their Time Turner). During the opposing team’s turn, the opposing team reaches 0 on their own timer. Their characters are randomly apparated and the countdown timers are reset to their starting values. Play returns to the first team, who still has 15 seconds left on their Time Turner before their normal countdown timer begins.

Note that the Time Turner is only designed for use with the Fast & Furious: Hogwarts Drift expansion.
