The Nutcracker

A play to open your opponent’s defences and then stuff a nut in it.

NOTE: one character must attempt a beat against an opposing character on the same turn (prior to activating the play) (the beat does not need to be successful).

Character Requirements:    3 Chasers (or Keeper), 1 Beater
Ball Requirements: Quaffle
Field Markings:  Yellow

Once the play has been activated, the defending team receives (as determined by the attacking team):

  • -1 Agility to any two characters
  • -1 Accuracy on any one character
  • The characters that receive these modifiers must all be different
